Evaluating the impact of London’s Night Time Enterprise Zones

Rise Associates has joined forces with data specialists Didobi to evaluate the impact of Night Time Enterprise Zones (NTEZ) in Bromley and Vauxhall.

Funded by the Mayor of London, the NTEZ aims to stimulate areas after 6pm with events, public realm improvements, safety interventions and support for businesses through the programme.

As well as measuring the impact on local businesses, our engagement also looked at the working environment of night workers in the NTEZ areas.

Research from The Liminal Space shows that those who work at night are 37 per cent more likely to have a heart attack, 44 per cent more likely to have diabetes and six times more likely to get divorced than those who work during the day.
